Miranda Cosgrove Has A Mysterious Hole in Her Leg From Her 2011 Bus Accident

Miranda Cosgrove has stumped doctors with a mysterious hole she still has in her leg, which she got after her bus accident in 2011.

The 28-year-old iCarly actress opened up about her scar from the crash during a recent episode of “Hypochondrioactor”, which is hosted by Sean Hayes and Dr. Priyanka Wali.

In the episode, Miranda recounted the crash, which occurred when she and her band were on tour in 2011 and in en route to the next stop.

The crash left her with only a broken ankle, and a mysterious hole in her leg.

Miranda explained that when her cast was removed she was shocked to see a small hole in her leg, about five inches above her ankle, and her physicians still have no explanation for it.

“It was so strange, because when I woke up, I had a cast on, like a soft cast, and then later I went back and they removed it,” she said. “And then that’s when I noticed the hole. And I was asking questions like, ‘What’s this? What’s that?’ And then I was like, ‘Wait, why is there a hole in my leg?’ So they were like, ‘Oh, we didn’t do that.’”

Miranda added it was like if “somebody punctured through completely and cut a hole” in her leg.

Dr. Wali said she had “a couple of theories” as how Miranda got the hole, one being possibly from a rod being put in her leg during surgery — “but the thing is, your surgeon would know that they did that.”

Miranda did reveal that there’s a scab over the hole now.
