New 'West Side Story' Clip Goes Behind The Scenes Of The Musical Film

A brand new look at West Side Story was just released!

Fans can get an inside look at director Steven Spielberg‘s new adaptation of the 1961 movie, as well as check out two new posters, featuring Ansel Elgort as Tony, Rachel Zegler as Maria, Ariana DeBose as Anita and David Alvarez as Bernando.

“I’m just so proud and so honored that I got this shot late in my career,” Steven shared in the clip.

The new movie will focus on two teens from rival New York City gangs who fall in love, but tensions between their respective friends build toward tragedy.

West Side Story, which will also star original actor Rita Moreno, is set to premiere in theaters on December 10.
