Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Charged With Misdemeanor Sex Crime

Andrew Cuomo is getting charged.

The 63-year-old former Governor of New York was charged with forcible touching, a misdemeanor sex crime, in Albany, New York, via People on Thursday (October 28).

The former governor allegedly “did…forcibly place his hand under the blouse shirt of the victim” and onto her breast, according to the complaint. The complaint also states the offense took place at the Governor’s Executive Mansion on December 7, 2020.

Forcible touching is considered a Class A misdemeanor, with a penalty of up to one year in prison, via the The New York Times.

The former Governor resigned back in August amid allegations of sexual misconduct, which has also resulted in at least one big honor being taken away in the wake of the scandal.
