Michelle Obama to Make Special Guest Appearance on 'Black-ish' Final Season!

Michelle Obama is heading to black-ish!

The ABC comedy series announced on Thursday (October 28) that the 57-year-old former First Lady will be making a special guest appearance on the final season of the show.

“#blackish is going all out for the final season! We are honored to have trailblazer @michelleobama join us as an upcoming guest star,” black-ish official Instagram account wrote.

Along with the big news, the account also shared a photo of Michelle on set with all of the stars of black-ish.

Michelle also announced the exciting news on her Instagram Story, writing, “I’ve long been a fan of @blackishabc’s wit and all-around brilliance, and it was such a thrill to join in for an episode. I can’t wait for you all to see it!”

black-ish creator Kenya Barris announced back in May that the show would be ending after eight seasons.

The eighth and final season of black-ish is expected to premiere some time in 2022.
