Nicola Coughlan Celebrates Wrapping Filming on 'Bridgerton' Season 2!

And that’s a wrap on season two of Bridgerton!

Series star Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington aka Lady Whistledown, shared a post to social media on Friday (October 29) celebrating that the show had finished filming.

“And that’s a wrap on Pen 🌼,” Nicola wrote alongside a photo of a cake covered in flowers. “I can’t wait to share this season of Bridgerton with you, it’s been a complete joy. I’m so proud and so excited for you all to see it.”

“See you in 2022/1814. Yours Truly, Lady Whistledown,” she added.

The second season of the hit Netflix show doesn’t have an exact release date yet, but as Nicola‘s post suggests, fans should expect it sometime in 2022.

Anthony Bridgerton’s love story is set to be the focus of the new season and in a new interview Nicola teased that the show is “a whole lot spicier.” Check it out!
