Chris Pratt Will Voice Lasagna Loving Cat Garfield For New Animated Movie

Chris Pratt is expanding into more voice acting with his next new movie!

The 42-year-old actor has signed on to voice everyone’s favorite animated cat, Garfield!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris will voice the lazy orange tabby cat in a brand new movie from Sony Pictures.

The script written by Oscar nominee David Reynolds is being directed by Mark Dindal.

Created by Jim Davis, Garfield debuted as a comic character first in 1978, with the lazy tabby cat often appearing alongside Jon Arbuckle, his human owner, and the lovable household dog Odie.

Garfield has previously appeared on the big screen in live-action/animated hybrid Garfield in 2004 and its sequel, 2006’s Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties.

Chris has previously voiced Onward‘s Barley Lightfoot, The Lego Movie‘s Emmett, and will also voice Mario in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie.
