Maya Hawke Reveals Which Of Mom Uma Thurman's Movies She Doesn't Like To Watch

Maya Hawke is opening up about which of her mom, Uma Thurman‘s movies that she doesn’t like to watch.

The Stranger Things star, who is the daughter of Uma and Ethan Hawke, chatted about her famous parents with The Guardian in a new interview and opened up about her fave movies rom the both of them.

Maya admitted that she hadn’t seen all of their movies, and that it’s a bit hard to watch her parents go through difficult emotional situations, even though she knows it’s pretend.

“It’s funny, I haven’t seen them all,” she shared. “Sometimes you don’t really want to watch your mom getting shot or your dad go through painful emotions, even though you know it’s pretend.”

Maya added that she “mostly I only watch the happy ones. One of my favorite movies of my mom’s is The Producers [Susan Stroman’s 2005 remake of Mel Brooks’s musical], where she’s dancing around being fabulous.”

Her least favorite is Pulp Fiction!

“That’s [The Producers is] much more fun to see than John Travolta jamming a needle into her heart.”

Just recently, it’s been suggested that Maya and Uma could star as mother and daughter on-screen in this movie!
