Halyna Hutchins' Husband Hires Law Firm Ahead of Possible Wrongful Death Lawsuit
It has been confirmed that Matthew Hutchins, the husband of the late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, has hired a law firm that specializes in wrongful death lawsuits.
While it has not been confirmed that Matthew is pursuing a wrong death lawsuit against the team behind the movie Rust, it appears possible that a case is on the way.

Deadline reports that Matthew has hired L.A.-based law firm Panish Shea Boyle Ravipudi and that partner Brian Panish will act as lead counsel.
The outlet report that a “rep for the firm would not comment on Matthew Hutchins’ legal plans are going forward against the production, however, it would not be shocking if a wrongful death suit is filed.”
A surprising statement was made by the attorneys for the armorer on the Rust crew.
Halyna died on October 21 after she was shot by a prop gun discharged by Alec Baldwin on the set of the upcoming western movie.
