'Indiana Jones 5' Crew Member Dies on Location

There has sadly been a loss on the set of Indiana Jones 5.

A crew member on the forthcoming sequel, which is currently shooting in Morocco, has died, Page Six reported Thursday (November 4).

Camera operator Nic Cupac, 54, was found dead in his hotel room in the city of Fes, The Sun reported.

His cause of death was not disclosed, but “he is thought to have died of natural causes.”

Nic previously worked on iconic films like Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and Star Wars, and had only recently arrived on set to help film for the upcoming sequel.

Indiana Jones 5 was originally set to hit theaters on July 9, 2021, but was pushed back to July 29, 2022 amid the pandemic. Last month, Disney announced it would be released in the summer of 2023. It’s not yet known if the movie will be further pushed back now.
