Jay-Z Is Officially the Most Grammy Nominated Artist Ever

Jay-Z‘s breaking yet another record.

The 51-year-old superstar is now the most Grammy-nominated artist ever, with a total of 83 nominations, as of Tuesday (November 23) with the announcement of the 2022 Grammys nominees.

He jus surpassed Quincy Jones, who he previously tied with 80 nods.

For 2022, Jay-Z got one for Album of the Year for Kanye West’s Donda and two in the Best Rap Song category, for DMX’s “Bath Salts” and Kanye West’s “Jail.”

Paul McCartney is behind him now with 81 nominations after he got an additional two for 2022 as well.

Jay-Z has won 23 Grammy Awards in his career. His wife, Beyoncé, also made history, becoming the most-nominated woman and most-awarded singer in the award show’s history last year.
