'Encanto' Will Be Added to Disney+ Sooner Than You Probably Realized

The new Disney movie Encanto is now playing in theaters and it’s expected to top the box office during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Fans that don’t went to venture out to the theaters will be able to watch the movie at home sooner than they probably realized as the film is being added to Disney+ in a matter of weeks.

Encanto‘s Disney+ release date is slated for December 24, exactly one month after the film’s theatrical debut. It’s expected that the movie will be available to all subscribers on that date with no added fee.

The film tells the tale of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family who live in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. Each child has been blessed with a magic gift unique to them—each child except Mirabel (Stephanie Beatriz). But when the family’s home is threatened, Mirabel may be their only hope.
