Billie Eilish Asked Fans to Reconsider Eating Turkey on Thanksgiving

Billie Eilish is making sure that fans know about the effect that Thanksgiving has on the population of turkeys.

The 20-year-old Grammy-winning singer took to her Instagram Stories on the day before the holiday to ask fans to reconsider having turkey during their Thanksgiving dinners.

Billie shared a photo of herself cradling with a turkey along with a caption to explain her position.

“Turkeys are some of the most gentle creatures in the world,” Billie wrote in the caption. “And 46 million of them are killed every Thanksgiving.”

She added, “I know it’s hard to change traditions but just keep it in mind :).”

Billie is among the celebs who signed a petition that was sent to Joe Biden, asking him to send this year’s pardoned turkey to Farm Sanctuary.
