In the film, in a memorable scene, Mark (Andrew Lincoln) shows up at the home of his best friend, Peter (Chiwetel Ejiofor), and Peter’s wife, Juliet (Knightley). Using a series of posters, he silently professes his love for Juliet from outside the door.
It ends with a sweet kiss, but some fans have wondered about Mark and Juliet getting together after the credits.
Now, Keira reveals what she thinks happened to her character when she went back inside to her husband.
“No, I have not watched the film again. Yes, I know that I stay with my husband!” she said.
Back in 2017, writer-director Richard Curtis produced a 15-minute minisequel, Red Nose Day Actually, revealing that Juliet indeed stayed with Peter – while Mark ended up marrying his longtime celebrity crush, Kate Moss.
