LeBron James Will Miss Tonight's Game Against Sacramento Kings Due to Health Protocols

LeBron James is sitting out the game tonight (November 30).

The 36-year-old Los Angeles Lakers player will miss the game against the Sacramento Kings as he has “entered the league’s health and safety protocols,” the NBA confirmed.

It is still unclear why has entered league protocols, but it doesn’t mean he necessarily has COVID-19.

Other players have also had to sit out games due to false positives or exposures to individuals that were infected. This season, however, the league does not require quarantines based on exposure, via CBS News.

LeBron James was seen boarding the team plane with other players for tonight’s game just one day before.

It is also unclear how his close travels with the team may impact them moving forward. He revealed his vaccination status this year.
