Chris Cuomo Breaks Silence Following His Suspension From CNN

Chris Cuomo is breaking his silence on his indefinite suspension from CNN.

If you don’t know, the decision by CNN came after documents and transcripts released by the New York Attorney General’s office detailed how Chris had used his connections to try and help his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, to respond to claims of sexual harassment. Chris barely publicly spoke about his brother’s scandal, but did once address it on the air.

Now, Chris is breaking his silence on his removal from CNN.

“It’s embarrassing but I understand it,” he said on his SiriusXM show, “and I understand why some people feel the way they do about what I did. I’ve apologized in the past and I mean it. The last thing I ever wanted to do was compromise any of my colleagues and do anything but help. “

He added, “You know this already. It hurts to even say it.”
