Rachel Zegler Picks Up First Major Award for 'West Side Story'

Rachel Zegler has a bright awards season ahead of her!

The 20-year-old actress just picked up her first major award for her role as Maria in the remake of the movie musical West Side Story.

Rachel was just honored with the Best Actress award from the National Board of Review. The honorees will be feted at the NBR Awards Gala on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

West Side Story also earned a spot on the Top 10 Films of the year from NBR. The new movie Licorice Pizza was the top winner, taking home awards for Best Film, Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson, and Breakthrough Performance for leads Alana Haim and Cooper Hoffman.
