Colton Underwood Makes Rare Comments About His Relationship with Jordan C. Brown

Colton Underwood is opening up about his relationship.

Back in September, the 29-year-old Bachelor alum was spotted kissing a mystery man who was later identified as Jordan C. Brown. In an interview a few months later, he shared that he was “in a very good place” with their relationship, but was hoping to keep things private.

In a new interview with People, Colton discussed his relationship with the political strategist and what it’s been like dating since coming out.

“I wasn’t really pursuing dating at first,” Colton told the outlet. “But since then I found somebody and I am very much in love.”

The reality star went on to say that he approaches his relationship differently after being on The Bachelor.

“After The Bachelor I learned the boundaries and healthiness of having a private relationship,” he explained. “Everybody went through my breakup [with Cassie Randolph] and the ups and downs of my dating life. It’s nice for me to have something for myself.”

Colton said Jordan has been a “great support” and added, “I’m the luckiest person to have him in my life.”

“I was struggling with my sexuality but I had such a level of fear over being gay,” he said. “Now that I’ve been out to myself for a year, it’s the healthiest and happiest I’ve ever felt. And there is nothing I would ever want to be but gay.”

He also said he’s excited to share his story on his new Netflix series Coming Out Colton, which is set to air on Dec. 3.

“I had so many twists and turns to get to where I am now,” he said. “I’m still learning and I’m still growing. But I’m not trying to trick myself anymore with the idea that I could force myself to be straight. And for the first time in my life, I’m hopeful that I’m on the right path.”
