Oscars 2022: Academy Announces the 26 Animated Films Eligible for Best Animated Feature

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences had revealed the list of 26 films that are eligible for the Best Animated Feature Film award at the 2022 Oscars.

Academy members who are part of the Short Films and Feature Animation branch will be eligible to vote in the category.

While there are several blockbuster movies in the category, like Disney’s Encanto and Universal’s upcoming Sing 2, there are also several lesser-known titles that are definitely worth watching as well.

Nominations for the Oscars will be announced on February 8 and the awards show will be held on March 27.
