'Sonic the Hedgehog 2' Trailer Features Idris Elba as Knuckles - Watch Now!

The new trailer for the upcoming movie Sonic the Hedgehog 2 gives us a glimpse of the character Knuckles, voiced by Idris Elba!

Ben Schwartz has returned to voice the title character again alongside Jim Carrey as the iconic Dr. Robotnik. Also returning for the upcoming sequel are James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, and Adam Pally.

Other additions to the cast include Shemar Moore and Colleen O’Shaughnessey as the voice of Tails.

Here is the synopsis: “After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.”

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 hits theaters on April 8, 2022.
