“After careful evaluation, we have decided to stop all production and brand development of CACTI Agave Spiked Seltzer. We believe brand fans will understand and respect this decision,” a spokesperson for the company said in a statement, per AdAge.

According to UpRoxx, when asked if they decision was connection to the tragedy that took place at the Astroworld Festival last month, where hundreds were injured and multiple attendees died after a mass casualty incident, the spokesperson declined to comment.

The brand’s social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram have already been deleted.
