Eva Longoria Explains Why Her Family Doesn't Celebrate Christmas Morning

Eva Longoria is opening up about her holiday traditions.

In a new interview, the 46-year-old actress and director gave a little insight into her holiday plans and explained why she and her family – including husband Jose Baston and their 3-year-old son Santiago – don’t celebrate Christmas morning.

“I’m Mexican, so we celebrate on [Christmas Eve],” Eva shared with Us Weekly. “We don’t really do the Christmas morning, like, wait for Santa or, like, somehow Santa came at 2:00 p.m. and here are all the presents.”

Eva went on to explain how she and family usually go out all on Christmas Eve.

“We do the huge meal and presents and all of that the night of the 24th,” she explained. “And then we usually go to mass at midnight. And that’s tradition.”

It was recently announced that Eva will be replacing this actress in an upcoming movie.
