Tom Holland & Zendaya React to 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Fan Theories on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Tom Holland and Zendaya greet their fans as they arrive at an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! at the El Capitan Entertainment Centre in Los Angeles on Monday (December 13).

The couple were joined by their Spider-Man: No Way Home co-stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Jacob Batalon, who were also spotted heading into the studio.

During the interview, the cast discussed some of the rumors surrounding the film, including the fan theory that former Spider-Man stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would be making an appearance in the movie.

“So there’s a lot of things that we obviously can’t talk about, but there are some things we can talk about. We do know that there are a lot of villains in this film – Electro, Sandman, Green Goblin… Who am I missing?” Jimmy asked, drawing nervous laughs from the cast.

Tom looked like he was about to speak and then stopped himself, as Jimmy joked: “Tom is so gun-shy he won’t even mention the announced cast.”

“Just don’t even talk to me. Just talk to these guys,” the actor quipped, gesturing to his castmates.

Tom also called the new installment “a celebration of three generations of cinema” and added that it was amazing to see some old characters be included.

Later in the interview, Jimmy brought up the rumors that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire would be reprising their roles as Spider-Man.

“Who are they?” Tom joked, adding that he had “recently been bumping into” both actors at different events.

“I went to one party in Hollywood and I bumped into Andrew and had a lovely time,” he explained. “I went to another party down the street and I bumped into Tobey. It was crazy. We should’ve filmed it and then stuck it in [to the movie.]”
