Queen Elizabeth Cancels Pre-Christmas Royal Family Lunch

“The Royal Family has scrapped its planned Christmas family lunch next week – amid concern about the rise in #omicron. It was decided it would put too many people’s Christmas plans at risk had the family lunch at Windsor with the Queen gone ahead,” royal reporter Chris Ship revealed. “The Queen is said to regret the decision to cancel the traditional pre-Christmas lunch with her family. But it was decided it was the right thing to do. No updates yet on the Queen’s plans to spend Christmas Day at Sandringham as she normally does from Dec-Feb in non-Covid times.”
