At 2:12 in the sixth round, Jake hit Tyron in the face with a right hook, knocking Tyron out cold as he hit the mat.
Jake was originally supposed to fight Tommy Fury, who pulled out less than two weeks before the event due to a bacterial chest infection and a broken rib.
After their fight, Jake and Tyron shared a hug during Jake‘s post-fight interview.
“This guy is a legend,” Jake said of Tyron. “This guy is a legend, don’t take anything away from his career as a UFC champion and respect him for taking this fight on two weeks’ notice … this is a real fighter, a real dog, and a warrior. That’s a tough fighter right there.”
This is the second time Jake has defeated Tyron. Back in August, the two went head to head during a match in Jake‘s native Cleveland.
Jake‘s boxing record is now 5-0.
In a recent interview, Jake Paul revealed the intense physical effects boxing is having on his body.
