'The Wheel of Time' Drew In Huge Numbers For Amazon Prime In The First Three Days!
Amazon Prime scored big with the premiere of The Wheel of Time last month.
According to a new release, via The Hollywood Reporter, the fantasy series brought in with 1.163 billion streaming minutes during the week of November 15 through November 21, in which three episodes of the series were made available for subscribers.
The series made its debut on November 19.
Starring Rosamund Pike, Josha Stradowski, Marcus Rutherford, Matrim Cauthon, Zoe Robins, Madeleine Madden and Daniel Henney, The Wheel of Time is based on the book series by Robert Jordan.
The story follows Moiraine (Pike), a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.
