Meghan Markle Might Be Called to Testify in Prince Andrew Lawsuit - Find Out Why

Meghan Markle might be one of the famous names who would be called to testify in the lawsuit against Prince Andrew.

The attorney representing Virginia Roberts Giuffre in her civil lawsuit, where she is accusing the royal of sexual assault against her at the young age of 17. Prince Andrew was associated with disgraced dead billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

David Boies, Giuffre‘s lawyer, revealed the reasons why the Duchess of Sussex’s name could be included.

Boies told the Daily Beast, “One; she is in the U.S. so we have jurisdiction over her. Two; she is somebody who obviously, at least for a period of time, was a close associate of Prince Andrew and hence is in a position to perhaps have seen what he did, and perhaps if not to have seen what he did to have heard people talk about it. Because of her past association with him, she may very well have important knowledge, and will certainly have some knowledge.”

He added, “Three; she is somebody who we can count on to tell the truth. She checks all three boxes.”

Duchess Meghan and her husband Prince Harry lived together in the UK until they moved away in 2020.

If you don’t know, Prince Andrew is the father of Princess Eugenie of York and Princess Beatrice of York. He is eighth in line for the throne.
