Fans Thought Ryan Phillippe Came Out as Gay, But His Friend Clarified That Post

Ryan Phillippe had some fans very confused this weekend with the post he put up on Christmas!

The 47-year-old actor shared a photo of himself laying in front of the tree with his friend Matt Sinn. He captioned the photo, “Merry Christmas from our house to yours👬.”

Ryan included the emoji of two men holding hands, which had some fans thinking that he came out as gay.

Matt also shared the same photo on Instagram and said, “Merry Holidays from the mountain.” He also shared a group shot of everyone else who attended the gathering, including Ryan‘s son Deacon Phillippe.

On his Instagram Stories, Matt also shared a photo of Ryan staring at him with the caption, “He love me.”

After the rumors spread online, Matt took to his stories to clarify the posts. He shared a photo of two women – Bailey Dodge and Stephanie Lauren – laying by the tree, who he said are their girlfriends.

“No, Ryan Phillippe didn’t come out. Here are the girlfriends,” Matt said.
