Dr. Dre's Ex-Wife Nicole Young Lands Massive Settlement in Divorce

Dr. Dre and ex-wife Nicole Young have reached a huge divorce settlement.

On Tuesday (December 28), the 56-year-old music producer and Nicole, 51, reached a divorce settlement more than a year after their split, and she’s walking away with a massive settlement.

According to Rolling Stone, Dr. Dre will be handing over $100 million to Nicole, which is reportedly more than one-fifth of his fortune and roughly half of his liquid assets. She will be receiving $50 million now, and the other half a year from now.

Nicole is required to move out of their Malibu beach house by the end of the month, but she will be able to keep a Rolls-Royce, Range Rover, Escalade limousine, and Spyder motorcycle as well as all of her jewelry.

Dr. Dre is getting full rights to his master recording, trademarks, and interests in various partnerships and trusts along with all of their Apple stocks, which includes the proceeds from the sale of Beats by Dre.

Dr. Dre and Nicole first announced they were splitting up in June 2020 after 24 years of marriage. They share two adult children – daughter Truly, 19, and son Truice, 24.

Earlier this month, Dr. Dre celebrated being “Divorced AF” after being legally declared single.
