Betty White Dead - 'Golden Girls' Actress Dies Days Before 100th Birthday

We’re devastated to report that Betty White has passed away.
The legendary actress died on Friday morning (December 31), just 18 days ahead of her highly anticipated 100th birthday.
In the days leading up to her death, Betty was promoting her upcoming 100th birthday celebration. She was set to host a special movie event called Betty White: 100 Years Young-A Birthday Celebration, which will air in movie theaters on January 17.

Not much is known at this time, but TMZ reports that Betty “passed away at her home Friday morning,” according to law enforcement sources.
Betty was best known for playing Rose Nylund in the beloved series The Golden Girls and she has more than 100 acting credits to her name. Some of her other well-known projects include The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Hot in Cleveland, and the 2009 movie The Proposal.
