'The Office' Actor David Koechner Arrested for Suspected DUI And Hit & Run on New Year's Eve

David Koechner has been arrested.

The 59-year-old actor, best known for his roles as Todd Packer in The Office and Champ Kind in Anchorman, was arrested for suspected DUI and hit and run on New Year’s Eve (Friday, December 31) Simi Valley, Calif., TMZ reports.

According to site, the incident occurred around 3 in the afternoon after police were called to deal with an “erratic driver” after David reportedly hit a street sign with a car.

He was then taken into custody after reportedly failing a field sobriety test. He was then reportedly book at the Ventura County Jail and his car was towed. David was allegedly released the next morning – New Year’s Day – at around 5am.

David will allegedly appear in court in March in relation to the arrest.

David Koechner has not yet publicly addressed the situation.
