The Bachelor's Clayton Echard Offered Salley Carson a Rose Before Limo Arrivals - But Reality Steve Says It Happened Differently

A first happened on Clayton Echard‘s season of The Bachelor – he offered a rose to a contestant before the limo arrivals even took place.

A woman named Salley Carson revealed in a confessional that she was having second thoughts about being there. She was previously engaged and her wedding was supposed to take place on the weekend of filming beginning.

Salley said that her heart wasn’t in the right place and went to Clayton‘s hotel room to talk to him. The producers said that she visited him five hours before the limo arrivals, but blogger Reality Steve says it went differently.

After Salley opened up to Clayton, he tried to reassure her by offering her the first rose of the season. She ultimately decided to turn it down and go home.

“That was tough. The first rose I handed out as The Bachelor, I was rejected,” Clayton said.

Reality Steve tweeted moments after the scene aired.

“Just so you know, this scene was not 5 hrs before the limo arrivals. It was 3 or 4 days before. She was already home days before they started shooting on Sept 29th,” he said.
