Lupita Nyong'o Tests Positive for Coronavirus & Drops Out of Press Day

Lupita Nyong’o has coronavirus.
The 38-year-old actress revealed the diagnosis on social media on Tuesday (January 4).

“I too have tested positive for COVID-19,” she wrote.
“I’m fully vaccinated and taking care in isolation, so I trust I will be well. Please do all you can to keep yourself and others protected from serious illness,” she continued, adding “#StayMaskedAndVaxxed” at the end.
She was meant to join Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing, Sebastian Stan and director Simon Kinberg for a round of virtual interviews promoting their new movie together, The 355, out Friday (January 7).
