Emma Watson Has Amazing Response to Being Mistaken for Emma Roberts in 'Harry Potter' Reunion Special

Emma Watson had the best reaction to the photo mix-up in Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts!

In case you missed it, the 31-year-old actress appeared in HBO Max‘s reunion special, where she discussed her time growing up on the Harry Potter set.

During one scene, she opened up about auditioning for the role as Hermione Granger, at which point footage cut to what was seemingly a photo of Emma as a child.

A fan then discovered that it was actually a throwback photo Emma Roberts had shared back in 2012.

On Wednesday (January 5), Emma Watson shared the photo to her Instagram account and wrote: “I was NOT this cute, @emmaroberts 😂 #emmasistersforever.”

Emma Roberts hasn’t responded to her post yet, but producers of the special acknowledged the error earlier this week.

“Well spotted Harry Potter fans! You brought an editing mistake of a mislabeled photograph to our attention. New version up shortly,” the producers said in a statement.
