The premiere was set to reunite Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette with the supporting cast.

The theatrical release of the fifth movie in the franchise will still go ahead as planned.

In the upcoming movie, viewers return to Woodsboro 25 years after a series of grisly murders. Newcomers include Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar.
