Rooney Mara to Play Audrey Hepburn in New Movie Directed by Luca Guadagnino

Rooney Mara is taking on an exciting role for her next project!

The Oscar-nominated actress will star in an upcoming Apple Studios movie as the legendary actress Audrey Hepburn.

Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino is attached to direct the movie with The Current War‘s Michael Mitnick writing the screenplay, according to Puck.

No plot details for the movie have been announced yet, but Deadline has learned that Rooney is also attached to the movie as a producer.

Rooney most recently appeared in the new movie Nightmare Alley, which is currently playing in theaters. Next up for her is the film Women Talking, which also stars Frances McDormand, Claire Foy, and Jessie Buckley.
