Here's How the Golden Globes Will Announce 2022 Winners

The Golden Globes are not being aired on Sunday (January 9), but there will still be presenters.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association was unable to secure celebrities to present this year’s Golden Globes amid controversy, so the group is turning to various non-profits, Variety revealed.

Non-profits supported by the HFPA will present at the Beverly Hilton hotel, and were asked early last week according to the report.

“The grant recipients are being called to stage to present, but, before they get to the category, they get to speak about their organization,” a source told the outlet.

A pre-produced package will follow, announcing nominees before presenters are handed an envelope with the winners listed inside.

The Golden Globes will neither air on TV nor be livestreamed this year. The Golden Globes social media pages will provide updates. All the winners will be announced at 9 p.m. ET. Find out who is nominated this year!
