Kendall Jenner Speaks Out Over The Uproar About The Revealing Dress She Wore To A Friend's Wedding Last Year

Kendall Jenner is opening up about the skin baring dress she chose to wear to longtime friend Lauren Perez‘s wedding last year.
The dress caused a lot of controversy online after the 26-year-old model shared an image of her in it from the festivities, which were hosted in Miami.
The Monot dress had several front slits in it, covering just her chest and a few other key places.

While celebrating the new year, Lauren shared a slideshow of images from her favorite day of 2021 – the day she got married to David Waltzer, an A&R partner and manager at Electric Feel Entertainment.
The first picture showed Kendall in the dress.
When Kendall first shared a picture from the wedding last November, many criticized her entire look, citing that it was not appropriate for a wedding at all. After Lauren shared her images, it seems no one let go of those thoughts.
“Inappropriate outfit at a wedding @kendalljenner. I’m embarrassed for you. #cringe,” one user wrote in the comments, with another defending Kendall, saying, “If the bride herself doesn’t gaf why do you care? relax.”
Lauren then responded about the drama: “Tell em! SHE LOOKED STUNNING AND I LOVED IT!”
After Lauren‘s comment, Kendall defended her choice to wear the dress and said that she asked Lauren about it as well.
“@laurenperez obvi asked for your approval in advance too. We love a beach wedding,” she wrote in the comment thread.
Kendall also served as one of Lauren‘s bridesmaids for the ceremony.
The good friends were seen out just a few days ago together, while Kendall filmed for Hulu’s The Kardashians.
