Sandra Bullock Credits Netflix for Why She's Still Getting Work Today

Sandra Bullock is crediting Netflix as the reason for why she’s still getting work at the age of 57.

The Oscar-winning actress has made two movies with the streaming service – 2018′s Bird Box and 2021′s The Unforgivable, both of which have been huge successes. They are both in the Top 10 of Netflix’s most-watched movies ever.

“They’re good to artists. They’re good to filmmakers. If it wasn’t for Netflix, a lot of people wouldn’t be working. Their stories wouldn’t be told. Who would think that me, as a woman, would still be working at this point? I would have been out in the cow pasture. It’s true,” she told THR about the streaming service.

Sandra also says that shows like Squid Game wouldn’t become the phenomenons that they are without Netflix.

“That’s one of the bigger ones, but I’ve seen more work from other countries told by other nationalities, and we never would have had that 10 years ago, ever,” Sandra said. “It brings people together in a way that really, you know, we’re getting more and more divided and yet, we have the streamers that are able to blend our stories together and go, look, same story, just different.”

Thankfully, Sandra is still getting work elsewhere and she has a movie hitting theaters in March that looks SO good!
