OlderJulia Fox Reportedly in Talks to Play Debi Mazar in Madonna's Upcoming Biopic
Julia Fox may be taking on a new role!
The Uncut Gems star was spotted meeting up with Madonna last week, with the “Like A Prayer” performer sharing on social media that she “went to dinner with Julia [Fox] to talk about my movie.”
According to a report from EW, Julia is being considered for the role of Madonna‘s longtime friend, actress Debi Mazar.

Debi and Madonna‘s friendship began while the Goodfellas actress was working as an operator at New York City’s Danceteria club in the 1980s. Debi then went on to star in Madonna‘s music videos for “Music” and “True Blue.”
Madonna has been working on a biographical film for a number of years, partnering with Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody back in 2020. Diablo left the project in April 2021.
