What is 'Twitter Flock'? Learn About the New Close Friends Feature!

It looks like Twitter has a new feature in the works that will be similar to the “close friends” feature on Instagram.
Some users on the social media app have discovered Twitter Flock, which allows you to share private content with up to 150 people. The feature is reportedly still in Beta testing and it’s not clear when it will be released to the public, but some details have already been revealed.

An engineer named Alessandro Paluzzi was able to enable the feature on the Twitter for Android app. A screenshot he shared showed how Twitter Flock works.
- Add people to your flock – You can choose up to 150 people to include in your Twitter Flock.
- Share content privately – Only people in your Twitter Flock can view and reply to your tweets.
- Update your list anytime – People’s won’t be notified if you remove them from your Twitter Flock.
