'You' Actor Travis Van Winkle Injured After Saving Dog from Coyote Attack

Travis Van Winkle is on the mend after a “scary” incident at a dog park.

On Sunday (January 23), the 39-year-old You actor jumped into action to save his dog Karen from a coyote attack at the Griffith Park in Los Angeles.

Travis took to his Instagram to share several videos after the attack, while also showing off the leg injury he sustained while rescuing his dog.

“I was hanging out in this little back area over here, and Karen and I were just kinda hiking and throwing some bark to her down this hill when two coyotes…like literally came after her,” Travis explained. “One almost got her leg. I had to slide down the mountain, literally screaming at the top of my lungs.”

“I just want to share with you, if you’re hiking with your dog up here at Griffith Park, be very careful,” Travis added.

“Way too close for comfort. Glad my little sweetie is okay. Luckily it went our way today,” Travis wrote with the videos. “Eeeeesh. Scary stuff.”

We’re glad to here Travis and Karen are luckily okay after the situation.
