Celine Dion Celebrates Son Rene-Charles' 21st Birthday with Sweet Tribute

Celine Dion is celebrating her eldest son’s birthday!

On Tuesday (January 25), the 53-year-old “My Heart Will Go On” singer celebrated her son Rene-Charles‘ 21st birthday with a heartfelt message.

“René-Charles, 21 years of dreams have already passed. We gave you life… Thank you very much for giving us the wonderful gift of becoming your parents. Since that day, I’ve been thriving as I watch you grow,” Celine wrote on Instagram along with a photo of she, late husband Rene Angelil, and Rene-Charles in the hospital shortly after his birth.

“Your intelligence, your generosity, your courage, and your great sensitivity never cease to move me. We guided you from our dreams, by holding your hand,” Celine continued. “Keep exploring and above all, listen to your heart knowing that you are always carried by our love, so that now your own dreams can come true. Happy Birthday René-Charles! Have fun my darling… We adore you! T.V.E.C. – Dad, Mom, Nelson and Eddy xx…”

Along with Rene-Charles, Celine and Rene are also parents to 11-year-old twin boys, Eddy and Nelson.

Rene passed away on January 14, 2016 at the age of 73 after a battle with throat cancer.
