'Succession' Actress Juliana Canfield Lands Lead Role in New Peacock Series from David E. Kelley

Juliana Canfield has landed her next big role!
The 29-year-old actress is best known for playing Kendall Roy’s assistant Jess Jordan on the hit HBO series Succession.
Juliana will be playing the lead female role in the upcoming Peacock series The Missing, which will be executive produced by David E. Kelley.

For those who don’t know, David is the creator of shows like Doogie Howser, M.D., Picket Fences, Chicago Hope, The Practice, Ally McBeal, Boston Public, Boston Legal, Harry’s Law, Goliath, Big Little Lies, Mr. Mercedes, Big Sky, and Nine Perfect Strangers.
Deadline reports that The Missing “tells the story of Detective Avraham (Unorthodox‘s Jeff Wilbusch), whose belief in mankind is his superpower when it comes to uncovering the truth. Guided by a deep sense of spirituality and religious principles, Avraham is left to question his own humanity when a seemingly routine investigation turns upside down.”
Juliana will “play Janine Harris, a newly- minted detective with the NYPD. Looking for a mentor, she begs to be partnered with Avraham, who prefers to work alone, and gets her wish.”
