Taylor Lautner Reveals How He Proposed to Fiancée Tay Dome: 'I Did It Big'

Taylor Lautner is opening up about how he proposed to his longtime love, and now fiancée, Tay Dome.

The 29-year-old Home Team star revealed back in November that he had popped the question to Tay and now he’s revealing details of how it happened.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, Taylor revealed that his proposal to Tay was very low key.

“She always has said ‘I don’t want anything special. I don’t want anything big and grand. Do it in the kitchen. I love cooking so I make us food all the time in the kitchen and we just eat at the counter. One night after we eat in the kitchen [propose], that’s all I want. Simple,’” he explained. “So, I did do it in the kitchen.”

Taylor added that he added his own touch to it: “I did it big in the kitchen.”

“She was away and I got tons of flowers and candles and a sign. So she came home at the end of the day, after a long day of work, and walked into that,” he says. “It was a lovely surprise. It actually did take her a little longer than expected to say ‘yes’ because she was weeping so hard.”
