Duchess Kate Middleton Takes Over One of Prince Harry's Royal Patron Duties
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) is now the Royal Patron of the Rugby Football League and England Rugby, a job that was once held by Prince Harry before he exited as a senior member of the royal family.
To commemorate the occasion of the 40-year-old royal becoming the new patron, a video was released.

“I am so thrilled to become Patron of the @TheRFL and @EnglandRugby 🏴🏉 Two fantastic organisations who are committed to harnessing the power that sport can have in bringing communities together and helping individuals flourish,” Duchess Kate shared in a statement. “I look forward to working with them across all levels of the games, and to cheering England on in what promises to be an exciting year for both sports!” She signed the statement with “C.”
