Isaac Powell's Absence from 'And Just Like That' Explained After Being Announced as Series Regular

Back in July 2021, it was announced that Broadway actor Isaac Powell had landed a series regular role in And Just Like That, but he never appeared on the show.
The Sex and the City sequel series just wrapped up its first season and Isaac never was featured in the series.
Deadline previously reported that Isaac would “portray George, a student at the famed Fashion Institute of Technology who is unconstrained by fashion/gender norms. He’s described as having a calm demeanor and self-processed energy beyond his young years.”

So, were Isaac‘s scenes deleted?
It seems Isaac never actually filmed any scenes for And Just Like That. A source told Us Weekly that Isaac “ultimately wasn’t able to do the show” because of “scheduling conflicts with another job.”
Isaac had his big break in the Tony-winning revival of Once On This Island and he starred in the recent revival of West Side Story, which closed early because of the pandemic. He most recently was seen in the Dear Evan Hansen movie and in American Horror Story: Double Feature.
