“I couldn’t possibly say. I certainly hope so,” Jesse said when asked about making an appearance on the show, adding “There were a lot of loose ends when Ed Green left the scene, if you will. Yes, maybe.”

Jesse joined the show at season 10 and stayed through the end of season 18. His character Ed left the NYPD after being indicted and tried for a shooting. While the charges were dropped, he decided to leave.

The Law & Order revival received a straight to series order back in September, with creator Dick Wolf and his collaborator Rick Eid both attached to the project.

Dick discussed the new series in an interview shortly after the announcement was made, sharing what fans could expect from the upcoming season.
