'Melrose Place' & 'Fame' Actor Morgan Stevens' Official Cause of Death Revealed

Morgan Stevens‘ official cause of death has been revealed.

The Melrose Place actor was found dead inside his home on Jan. 26. He was 70.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed on Thursday (February 2) that Morgan died of natural causes due to arteriosclerosis cardiovascular disease.

According to Mayo Clinic, arteriosclerosis happens when the arteries thicken or harden, which can restrict blow flow and oxygen to vital organs and extremities.

The Fame actor’s death was first reported last week. The Los Angeles Police Department said that Morgan‘s neighbor requested local authorities to do a wellness check after he hadn’t been seen or heard from in days.

Morgan began his acting career after graduating college. He went on to play David Reardon in two seasons of Fame and he also had roles in A Year in the Life, The Waltons, Roses Are for the Rich and The Return of Marcus Welby M.D..
