Kristen Wiig to Star in Apple Comedy Series 'Mrs. American Pie'
Kristen Wiig is taking on a new role!
Deadline has announced that the actress is set to star in a new period comedy series for Apple titled Mrs. American Pie.

Kristen will play Maxine Simmons, a woman striving to earn her place in Palm Beach high society.
“As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, Mrs. American Pie asks the questions: Who gets a seat at the table? How do you get a seat at the table? And what will you sacrifice to get there?” the outlet writes.
The 10-part series will be produced by Laura Dern, who will also have a “key role” in the comedy.
