Adam Driver, Penelope Cruz & Shailene Woodley to Star in 'Ferrari' Biopic from Michael Mann

Adam Driver is taking on a new role!

The 38-year-old actor is set to star in Michael Mann‘s passion project Ferrari alongside Penelope Cruz and Shailene Woodley.

Adam will be playing racing mogul Enzo Ferrari, replacing Hugh Jackman in the title role.

Penelope will star as Enzo’s wife Laura, while Shailene will take on the role of his mistress Lina Lardi. Production is slated to begin in May in Italy.

According to Deadline, the director has been working on the film for two decades. It will be set in the summer of 1957, when ex-racecar driver Ferrari was on the precipice of bankruptcy and having marital issues. Left with few other options, he decides to roll the dice and race in the iconic Mille Miglia.
